The Lexington Music Awards seeks to honor the entire music industry (performers, writers, sound techs, venues, & more) with a unique 3-tier voting system that includes the public (music audiences) as well as pro panel. The awards honors those from across the entire state. The event, held every year at the historic Lyric Theatre, is hosted by WLEX TV-18’s Bill Meck, and is in its 9th year. The event features house band, awards presentations, and special performances by a variety of artists from the region.
